Yes Gail and I are trying to ring the bell in the cathedral. No the policia did not come.

We had a wonderful group dinner. The plaza was empty until 9 pm when everyone comes out for dinner and drinks. I was able to communicate enough to buy jamon iberico belloto and manchego also. We had paella, salmon, pork for dinner along with many tapas and vino tinto. Which is easier and cheaper to get than agua. The best line of the evening- the couple from Wa DC asked the Australians what language they were speaking.

Day in Madrid

Vinto tinto. Free for breakfast lunch and dinner. But the agua will cost you. Took our new kiwi friend on an autobus adventure to downtown after the prado museum. Quite impressive works by Velasquez, Rafael, Goya.
