The guidebook says if you are brave and don’t take anything of value you can walk in La sanita “an uncomfortably lawless neighborhood”. The only thing we felt was odd was someone trying to get on the lift with us. But OK.

We had some fun treats on our walk back last night. Deep fried zucchini flower, baba a rum soaked pastry and sofliagette a clam shaped ricotta stuffed pastry pictured above. All the Italians have so helpful and friendly. Napoli was a great experience.
